RECOGNITION OF PRIOR LEARNING

RECOGNITION OF PRIOR LEARNING (RPL) IS AN OPTION TO OBTAIN FORMAL ACKNOWLEDGEMENT OF A YOUR CURRENT SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE NO MATTER HOW, WHEN OR WHERE THE LEARNING OCCURRED.

The recognition gained from RPL may considerably reduce the study time needed to get a qualification. One of the units in Certificate IV Building and Construction, which is the required qualification for a low rise building licence, is how to read and interpret plans. If you are in the construction industry and you can read plans why study in a classroom to learn how to read plans? Instead, apply for this through RPL and reduce your time in the classroom.

RPL can be applied for as many units you choose and feel you have the required knowledge in.
